The leaders of Mali, Burkina Faso and the Republic of Niger have signed a security cooperation agreement between them, as the ministers of the three countries stated during a press conference today Saturday.

In a statement published by the head of the military government of Mali, Assimi Goita, on his page X, which is known as Twitter, he said that they did this cooperation to enable them to provide protection to their people.

The countries of Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger, which border each other, have spent many years suffering from security problems, especially from groups that claim Jihadi. In the same way, all the 3 countries have experienced a coup d'état between 2020 and now, with Niger being the last country among them to experience a coup d'état on the 26th of July last.

When Mali's Minister of Defense Abdoulaye Diop was addressing the press conference this Saturday, he said that the cooperation affects the security sector and the economy of the 3 countries.

All the 3 countries are currently facing conflict with France, the country that colonized them, which allowed them to unite to deal with the problems that surrounded them.

Even the level of countries cutting ties with Niger after the July coup, Mali and Burkina Faso are the only countries that have shown their support and support in various fields.
