Reports from Bauchi state in Nigeria, indicate that 39 people from Duguri in Alkaleri local government area were kidnapped by bandits last Thursday, during a joint patrol by the security forces and hunters. .

 The delegation of the State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir, the Commissioner of Police, the Director of the DSS and the Brigade Commander of the Army paid a condolence visit to the families and the people of Duguri.
