One of the things that have often hindered the political process in the Republic of Niger, is the failure to fulfill promises and follow the law regarding the quota that should be reserved for women in political and military positions.


This debate is currently going on in all 266 local governments, 63 districts and 8 states of the Republic of Niger which will pave the way for the national assembly that will prepare for the adoption of a new constitution.
