 Tinubu appointed Jamila Bio Ibrahim as youth minister

Nigerian President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Dr. Jamila Bio Ibrahim as the country's chief youth minister.

Tinubu also approved the appointment of Mr. Ayodele Olawande as Junior Minister of Youth.

In a statement issued by the spokesperson of the president, Ajuri Ngelale, he said that the names of the two men will be forwarded to the Senate of the country to determine them.

Dr. Jamila Bio Ibrahim - a young doctor - recently held the position of the women's leader of the ruling APC party.

She also held the position of chief assistant to the governor of Kwara in achieving the goals of the century.

Mr. Ayodele Olawande is the youth leader of the APC party.

He most recently served in the Office of the Special Adviser to the President on Innovation from 2019 to 2023.
